GROUNDWORKprototype

Ground. Work. Grow.

The growth is for you.

Min max your life.

You already own more than you use. Not because you are lazy — because nobody can hold a whole room in their head. Photograph your space, name what is in it, and Groundwork works out what it all does together.

Ground · what you already have

Your space from the street, and your space from inside it. The rack against the wall because it has to be, the boxes that never move, the clear floor in between.

Work · three moves

Work is good when you are capable, you know what you are training for, and you are not carrying the whole room in your head.

  1. 01Snap the roomEvery photo waits until you say there is no person in it. Your own hand counts, so put things down rather than holding them up.
  2. 02Name what you seeOne per line. Nothing reads the photo for you — the photo is the evidence for each thing.
  3. 03See your buildOne kettlebell is a squat, a swing, a carry and a press. A rack you cannot get to is not really a rack.

Grow · and the good stuff

The dog gets in. So does the plant, and the dinosaur on the shelf. None of it scores anything — it is your room, and a room with less in it is not a worse room.

The room getting clearer is the readout. There is no badge for it, no streak to keep, and nothing here that can be neglected.

Under the picture

It is a drawing of a real room, and every part of it came from somewhere. Nothing here is decorative.

Nothing is backed up yet. Everything stays on your device. Clearing site data deletes it for good, so do not put anything in it you would hate to lose. Tell me what is annoying — “this is too much” and “I did not get it” are the most useful things you can say, and there is a Report a problem button on every screen.

No photo with a person in it is ever kept. There is no setting that turns that off.
